Accessibility

Help using the website and understanding the building-access details to check before visiting The White Horse Inn.

Using the website

WCAG 2.2 AA is our build target, not a claim of certified conformance. The pages use readable text, labelled navigation, visible keyboard focus and a skip link to the main content. You can use your browser's zoom controls without a disabled zoom setting.

The desktop navigation, address, story and external directions link are available in the initial HTML. The mobile navigation drawer needs JavaScript, but the footer also provides ordinary links to the core pages.

Venue images have descriptive alternative text. Online booking is unavailable. Links to third-party sites use those sites' accessibility arrangements. A full manual and automated assessment has not yet been completed.

Access to the building

The White Horse Inn is a historic Grade II-listed building. This website does not yet publish verified entrance, ramp, threshold, toilet, parking or room-access measurements. We do not describe the building as fully accessible or infer step-free access from a photograph.

Physical-access information will be published as it is confirmed. If you are planning a visit, email the team with the specific route and facilities you need. Read the practical visiting information.

Ask for help or report a problem

For help, email the White Horse Inn team. For a website issue, describe the page, the task you were trying to complete and the assistive technology or browser you used. Share only what is needed to explain the problem.
